Abstract by Prof. Dr. LIU Qun

In this talk I will introduce our work on statistical machine translation
(SMT) in recent years. Firstly I will give a brief introduction to our
institute and the NLP research group.  Then our research work on SMT will be
given, which will mainly focus on the series tree-to-string translation
models.  I will also talk about the
evaluation activities which we participated or organized.  Finally I will
introduce some applications of our SMT systems.
